Friction records decided to hang onto the cd release of the "Of
Gold" album by "Bars Of Gold" till 2 months after the LP release.
Don't think twice about getting the LP, it's about to be sold out
already, and apparently they're talking about a re-release later
on, sometime next year. Who knows?
Regarding a recent Bars Of Gold performance, Detroits Metro Times
proclaimed, If Fugazi had David Yow as a front man, but played
like they lived off a steady diet of funk and MC5 records theyd
sound a lot like this. Wow.
