Release Notes:

French duo Masomenos are set to release their next album this fall,
entitled Balloons.

Consisting of DJ Joan Costes and producer Adrien de Maublanc, Masomenos
have been putting out records since 2006, mostly on their own label,
Welcome to Masomenos. The pair have been particularly prolific in the
past two years, having just released their last full-length, Costes
Presente... The Third Eye in May of 2009. Its always difficult to
describe the process of making an album, says Masomenos. Its a
succession of happy accidents over a certain period of time, that at
one point becomes a story. The story element is particularly
important to Costes and Maublanc; as its unusual tracklist indicates,
Balloons is constructed as one fluid listening experience rather than a
collection of single tracks. Unmixed versions of the tunes can be had
thanks to a four-part vinyl series currently available via Welcome to
Masomenos.
