Release Notes:

Hailing from Leeds, the members of the Music were still in their teens
when they recorded their self-titled 2002 debut album, which made a big
splash in England. The band's larger-than-life sound mixed `90s Britpop
influences with a touch of hard-rock/post-grunge edge. After the 2004
album WELCOME TO THE NORTH, the band dropped out of sight for an
extended period, due to singer Robert Harvey's battles with drugs and
depression. But they came back better than ever in 2008 with their most
mature album to date, STRENGTH IN NUMBERS, which added atmospheric
electronics to the Music's approach.

The band began recoding followup to STRENGTH IN NUMBERS in January
2010, but, although never officially announced, they called it a day in
September. This new compilation showcases the band when they were in
their prime. Included are all the bands singles and EPs from 2001 to
2005, including b-sides and all that jazz. These guys were one of my
faviourite bands, and i'm really gonna miss them. Hopefully they'll
pick up where they left off, one day. Enjoy this stunning release.
