Release Notes
THE BOMBETTES present their first full-length after two
previous 7"s. Both have given the world a surprisingly fresh
take on poppy punk, far removed from the watered down
MTV-version of the genre. The band members are careful when
it comes to dropping musical references, but if you think of
fun '80s power-pop punk mixed up with a little of '60s melody
feel and played with far more attitude than pretentions then
you got a hint of what THE BOMBETTES are all about. This album
will surprise fans of THE LOST PATROL BAND, RANDY, MASSHYSTERI,
KNUGEN FALLER, BUZZCOCKS and GORILLA ANGREB.
