The Big Day Out Edition features a AUS/NZ exclusive second
disc containing the smash hit 'Not In Love' featuring
Robert Smith plus remixes of Celestica, Baptism and
Suffocation as well as rare B-sides originally featured on
the super limited vinyl only 12" of Doe Deer released
earlier in 2010.
An electronic mess of post Animal Collective vibes and
balearic beats run through the current
coldwave/alternative filter. This is Crystal Castles
second effort, and was selfproduced by Ethan Kath, with
Alice Glass on vocal duties by his side. The record was
recorded in a church, a self built cabin, and in an old
abandoned garage amongst other places.
