Release Notes:
Hunger is the debut album from Sunderland indie outfit Frankie & The
Heartstrings. Released on their own imprint Pop Sex Ltd, through indie
label Wichita, the band have turned their early demos and promise into
polished songs. Working alongside legendary Orange Juice frontman Edwyn
Collins, the art and poetry influenced songs such as single Tender -
which was inspired by the Edmund Fitzgerald poem Tender Is The Night
- are given a classic indie-pop sound.
