Progressive Death metal Fused with Hardcore, and Technical influences
are what make up Foreboding Ether's distinctive sound. Formed in early
2007 they put together a demo titled "Casting the Ruins." After
gigging for a few months around the South East they decided to scrap
the material and start a fresh as they felt better songs could be
written. During the writing process problems began to surface. Over
the next 3 years they lost 2 guitarists, a bass player and a drummer
meaning progression has been difficult. In 2009 Aaron (Drummer from
Odessa Step Sequence) joined on guitar and played a total of 2 shows
before their drummer Scott "Ticket to the Gun Show" Hoenes had to
leave. This meant that Aaron took over on drums, leaving Ollie, Dave
and Stu from the original line-up. Although this was another setback
it offered time to perfect the tracks in place and has become the main
inspiration for the title of the forth coming EP "Prolonging the
Agony." ..
