Lighten Up have been blasting their brand of hardcore for long
enough now to have refined their ability to craft perfectly short,
punishing jams that tap one of punk rock’s golden eras without
sounding stupid and rehashed.“Where Fun Goes to Die” clocks in at
almost no time at all, but packs the potency of a full length SST
release. Who would have thought that one of the hardest releases
in recent years would be by a band whose vocalist has an entire
sleeve of tattoos dedicated to Pee Wees Playhouse?
